About me:

I was born at the 20th of february 1979 in Muehlhausen, a small town in Thuringia. I lived with my 6 years older sister and my mother in a neighbour house of my granny. The big playground and garden gave me much place for playing. An so i started very early to try some sports such as tennis, badminton and roller blading.

One of my most beautiful experiences had been our annual vacation trip to "Old Schwerin". Every time it was connected with an adventure for me.

I think there was no year that we didn´t get cought by a tempest.

The consequence was an inundation of our tents. Your can say it was already nearly a tradition to get the water out of the tents.

The absolute best thing then was afterward the meal. There was a Broiler (chicken), wich i ate with much passion:-)

It was a very nice time and i am very happy when i remember these early years.

Schooltime and job:

I started going to school in the year 1985. I always had been a very active child. I loved track and field, special the short distance running, but the long distance runnings were an agony for me, but extraordinary ambition helped me to go through this and get good results in this too.

At the age of 11 years i decided to join an acrobatic work group. Even in these early years i already was inspired  by the routines and well trained bodies of the fitness women in television.

Then, later when i changed to a scintific high school there was no time, motivation and no necessary discipline to go further in acrobatics. After only a short time i noticed the fact that i felt not balanced und very unfortunate and began to do track and fields again. I competed at school competitions and others competitions with quiete good results.

At the age of 16 or 17 my sister gave me a video from "Cindy Crawford" and i started to workout two to three times a week like her in this video. But with no results.

I finished highschool in 1997 with a degree, and in the same year i started to learn my job as a nurse in frankfurt. A few years later, at the age of 18 i decided to join a fitness gym. For me it was the perfect reconcilation to my trainee as an examined nurse and at the same time it was a good chance to meet people with the same interests.

I had the goal to bring my body in shape with the result of looking fit and well trained. My brother-in-law helped me with some advices about training and nutrition. But very soon i realized that i really missed my home, my family and my friends and after only 6 month i decided to go back to thuringia and again started a new job in an hospital in my hometown.

After i saw  the film "nemesis 2", with Sue Price for the first time, i felt new engergie arousing. This film should change my life forever! Again i joined a local gym and i workedout quite hard and consistently at this time. During these days i really tried to get every bodybuilding mag that i was able to get, to plan my training routine.

In this gym i met my current boyfriend Tino who, at this time, was a trainee in the gym and worked as a trainer.

He moved, because of vocational reasons, to North Rhine Westphalia. Because i still had to learn my job i moved 6 month later, after finishing my exam at home, to North Rine Westphalia too and got a new job there in an hospital.

There i still work today.

This removal again changed my life in a positive way. I was acquainted with my current choach and manager René de Homont. He worked very successful with many other athletes in different kind of sports for over 15 years. He took me by the hand and we changed my training and my nutrition.

Like in any other sport, nutrition is the key to success, also in bodybuilding. Until this day i wrote everything down what, how often and when i ate something and calculated every amount of protein, carbs and fats. Therefore we could see the sins and mistakes i made, like the wrong fats, much to less protein, less carbs and things like these.

Thus then René was able to co-ordinate my nutrition exactly for my body. Very soon then my strengh increased dramaticly and my body changed very very fast. Then, from day to day i started really to live the sport more and more. René motivated me with words like: "You have perfect genetics"....or... "you are born for the sport of bodybuilding.." And so, one day, i decided to try to compete onstage.

It had always been a dream for me to compete, but i never believed in the fact that it would become reality some day, because i didn´t have the knowledge about all the important things. From René i learned everything new just from the beginning, and, as everyone knows, its not only training and dieting..... Its also the presentation onstage.

My first comeptition:

I did my first show in the year 2003, the west german championships from NAC in the body class, which i won. One week later i also won 1st place at the int. german championships NAC!

That was a fantastic experience which motivate me to compete in more shows and to increase my energy for my workouts very much. I trained like hell.

During the following year i gained 22 lbs of solid muscles because i absolutely lived the sport and focused on my lifestyle. This year i again won the int. german championships from NAC and i was allowed to represent germany in the national-team for the Ms Universe in spain, madrid, one week later.

Ms Universe:

The biggest success for me up to then, i obtained in the year 2004 (two weeks after i won the german championships) at the ms universe contest which was held in madrid, spain. This show left a lasting impression in my soul. I won the 1st place in body class and won the title ms universe 2004 in the second year of competition in my 4th show of my life.

WOW!! I really couldn´t believe what had happend to me. It was one of the happiest moments in my life. I knew that i did everything right and i made the possibly best out of my body. All the excitement paid off. That allone makes you a champ, a winner over yourself.

That was the very first time that i cried backstage because i was so happy. I really couldn´t believe it!

This all wouldn´t  have been possible if my familiy and friends had not supported me and helped me in the hard days of diet or doubt. Only because of them it was possible for me to focus absolutely on the sport and to go my way and so i thank you all very much for making this possible for me!!!!!

statement about bodybuilding:

bodybuilding and the public:

As we all know, bodybuilding isn´t as popular as other sports. One of the reasons in my opinion are the athletes themselfes. Many athletes don´t really live the sport in all of its aspects and they believe they just have to work out a few month and they will look like someone who dedicated his life to the sport.

In that way they act also in public. That harms the sport more than it is useful. One should transform the power of will and the hard work of reaching the goals, what you definitely learn about in our sport, in every part of its life. In our jobs and our private lifes. Then i think the first step would be done to get more publicity and to clean up with the many prejudices in our sport and against bodybuilders.

For me, bodybuilding is a very serious sport and i wish that someday the public will accept it like this too. Our love and devotion to our sport together with a strong mental attitude and ambition will make it impossible to stop us. Maybe because for me bodybuilding isn´t only a sport like any other, but its a way of life. It shows you for what you should be ready to fight for and because you never get anything given. Bodybuilding gave a completely new body feeling and this i never ever want to miss. It showed me that you can get anything you want, or you are able to hold out anything, you just really have to go for it 100 percent.

I really love the sport in all of its aspects, with all of the hard work in the gym, in private life and onstage!!!
